Lolcats

I saw a most disturbing place yesterday. It has upset me a great deal to think that this epidemic could be spreading. I cannot even begin to describe the language that I have encountered.

I suspect that the Bane of My Existence is fluent in LOL. I thought she couldn't spell. I didn't realize it was another language. She suggested the following captions for her determined attempt to obtain the lunch leftovers:

Kitteh iz noeing fud in heer

Iz nivver giv up.

Chosen

An individual of high intelligence and an appreciation for the superiority of felines has chosen to tag this blog for special recognition. DHCoop, the author of It's just me has designated this blog as a Superior Scribbler - probably at the insistence of Gracie, Scooter & Ringo.

As with everything else in life, there are rules to abide by:

  • Each Superior Scribbler must in turn pass The Award on to 5 most-deserving Bloggy Friends.
  • Each Superior Scribbler must link to the author & the name of the blog from whom he/she has received The Award.
  • Each Superior Scribbler must display The Award on his/her blog, and link to This Post, which explains The Award.
  • Each Blogger who wins The Superior Scribbler Award must visit this post and add his/her name to the Mr. Linky List. That way, we'll be able to keep up-to-date on everyone who receives This Prestigious Honor!
  • Each Superior Scribbler must post these rules on his/her blog.
I have deemed to nominate the following felines:
  1. Mr. Doodle's Dog - Do not be misled by the title. Yes, there are canines involved, but the photographer is Joe the cat, quite a striking figure, don't you agree?
  2. Blogging Cat - This blog is written by Prince Muddy Paws, another choice specimen of feline grace.
  3. The Cat Room - this blog is co-written by Bonkers and Miss Daisy: obviously better suited to one another than the Bane of My Existence and myself.
  4. Abbie The Cat Has A Posse - Earlier this year, Abbie had an adventure and then a spell of forgetfulness, but now I'm happy to say, has returned to blogging.
  5. Cat Girl's Amazing Felines Blog - Katharina is the only human I have tagged. Reading her blog will explain why.

Invasion

What a traumatic evening!!
My pleasant domestic abode was invaded by adolescent females.
The noise...
All those feet, oblivious to what might lay underneath...
All those hands, wanting to grab my body...
All that stuff... everywhere.... food... cups... paper...socks... shoes....a leg?

When will this torture end?

And I have been tagged...
I can't even begin to ponder that responsibility under the current barrage of tragedy...
I desperately need a nap but all my spaces are under surveillance...

Missing the Lone Male

Early on Thursday morning, the Lone Male rode off into the fog. He does this quite frequently, but usually returns later the same evening. He has not returned yet. Everything and everyone else is as they should be, so I assume he will return within a fortnight. The Preferred One allows me to stay on the bed with her until she turns the light out. If only I could persuade her to disallow the Bane of My Existence from the same privilege.

Change in the Weather

The windows are closed again. No more naps with the breeze blowing around my ears, bringing scents from unseen places. I believe it was due to the rain. I suppose it was for the best. I abhor getting my feet or fur damp.
